Spherical, plain, fine engraved with borders of foliage scrolls and interspersed with masks on the body and hinged cover. Wood mounted swing handle with conform engraving and fluted ball finial. Armorial engraving on the body. The stand on four curved and rolled feet. The underside with cranulated decoration. Maker Francois van Stapele, the Hague, 1739.
