A Dutch silver tray

Oval shape with reeded rims and raised gallery, pierced into foliate and geometric decoration. With integrated kidney shaped handles. Inscription on the underside: "Ter gedachtenisse aan den 25 jaarige trouwdag van den Heere I.M. de Rieux met Vrouwe M.M.Pels gevierd den 28ste October 1808". With an engraving depicting the possible coat of arms of both families. Maker T.C. Moot, Koninkrijk Holland, Utrecht, 1807-1809. Size ca. 44 x 30 cm.
