Footnote:
Grand Parade (1916-1932) was bred in Ireland by the Irish-born American politician Richard Croker at his Glencairn Stud. He ran eight times, winning seven races and was never beaten at level weights. After a successful career racing, he was sold privately to Lord Glanely for 470 guineas in 1920. He then became a stud at Falmouth House Stables in Newmarket.
