(A) EARLY REMINGTON BEALS PERCUSSION REVOLVER IN CASE.

Introduced in 1857, this little five shot single action features an octagon barrel, center placed hammer, non fluted cylinder, nickel plated trigger guard, dovetailed front sight and hard rubber grips. The Remington along with Beals patent legends are located atop the barrel and top strap. Comes in period case with small eagle gold washed flask, a two cavity brass mold and cap tin. CONDITION: Very good. Metal is now a dark patina showing no original finish. Grips are fine. Some strong nickel remains on guard. All legends are sharp. Working order retaining a well defined bore showing some abrasions.
