A FABERGÉ SILVER GILT & ENAMEL BEAKER ST. PETERSBURG C. 1900. In Neoclassical taste, the exterior of the tapering bowl with a gilt band above a surface enameled in translucent strawberry red over a wavy engine turned ground, the spreading foot with acanthus leaf border. Hallmarked St. Petersburg 1898-1893, struck on the upper border with workmaster's initials AN for Anders Nevalainen, 88 silver standard and later Soviet control mark, the underside of the foot with Fabergé scratched inventory number 10920. Height 2 inches (5 cm)
