A FAMILLE VERTE OVOID JAR AND COVER
19th century
Decorated around the exterior with a pavilion terrace scene depicting a boy and a gentleman seated on a cart, engaging in salutations with another group of gentlemen with attendants amidst rockwork and pine trees, all below a border of four panels enclosing auspicious objects with ribbons against a diaper ground, the domed cover decorated with two boys at play, both the cover and the base drilled with an aperture to be used as a lamp.
