The bold and more sophisticated example with blue field nicely set with a conjoined hexagonal tile design, each tile enclosing a brown or copper red hooked and stepped medallion linked to small rectangular panels each enclosing an ivory 's' motif, the striking copper red border with bold continuous vinery meander enclosing stylized plants between wavy blue hooked angular vines, narrow ivory and charcoal guard borders, circa last quarter of the 19th century.
