A FINE BELLE EPOQUE DIAMOND NECKLACE, EARLY 20TH CENTURY in 18ct yellow gold and platinum, the central section detachable to wear as a brooch, set to the centre with a principal old cut diamond of 2.02 carats accented by further old and rose cut diamonds, suspending a drop set with another old cut diamond of 0.94 carats, the necklace formed of a series of old cut and rose cut diamonds, suspending similarly set drops, the principal diamonds in the necklace of 1.45, 1.20, 1.17, 1.05 and 1.01 carats, the diamonds all totalling 18.5-19.5 carats, French assay marks, 37.0cm, 41.6g.
