A FINE BONZE FIGURE OF DIPAMKARA
Nepal, 19th century. The bronze buddha figure of Dipamkara, inlaid with corals and turquoises, beautiful engravings and chase works, standing atop a sealed off double lotus pedestal. The figure wearing a richly ornamented robe with its right raised hand showing the abhayamudra, the lowered left hand the varadamudra and a gold lacquered and hand painted face. The bronze figure comes with an associated wooden base.
Condition: Fine condition, the halo somewhat bent and with few cracks.
