Provenance/Additional Info: signed in upper right area with her misspellings: DONE BY MARY JONES FOR HER RESPECTED PARENTS IN HER 10TH YEAR not dated, c. 1870-80 is original gilded wood frame with minor losses along edges has skillfully done vignettes of a very large country house with a pond as the main image and a smaller house in the left foreground; realistically rendered trees and foliage, and a sumptuous wide border of accurately depicted flowers in full blooming excellent condition except for the frame edges
