A FINE QUEEN ANNE FIGURED WALNUT SIDE TABLE CIRCA 1710 The quartered veneered and feather banded top with caddy moulded edge, above a cavetto moulded frieze fitted with a drawer and supported on lappet carved columnar legs terminating in pad feet 67cm high, 74cm wide, 48cm deep Provenance: Purchased from Randolf, Suffolk A closely related table sold Sotheby's, London, The Collection of Sir Joseph Hotung, 8th December 2022, Lot 284 (£30,240) and another at the same venue, The Collection of the Late Francis Egerton, 28th April 2010, Lot 609 (£26,250). Condition Report: Overall there are some scratches, marks, chips, cracks, abrasions and some evidence of old worm consistent with age and use.The frieze linings repaired with later timber and edge mouldings, the lining of the drawer front with holes from previous handle position and with some scored lines and holes.Some losses and restorations to the veneers; some screw repairs.There is some bowing to the top.Please see all the additional condition report photographs through the link on the condition report email as a visual reference of condition.
