Classic for this type with delicate meandering palmette and floral vine around central arabesque and floral medallion. In similar design border between flowering vine, arabesques and plain stripes. This carpet has full pile, soft silk quality. In general this piece is in very good condition throughout. Selvages rebound, well done. Ends with short fringes, secured. Fine weave, approx: 7 x 7 knots per sq. cm; woven on silk foundation. Very good example for this type. Elegant and good furnishing piece.
