A FINELY DECORATED BLUE AND WHITE BALUSTER VASE
TRANSITIONAL PERIOD, CIRCA 1650
The vase is decorated in bright shades of underglaze cobalt blue with vases containing blossoming flowers, 'antiques', and a fan-shaped panel on one side containing figures in a riverscape, beneath leafy flower blossoms on the neck and all between incised borders.
