A FINELY PAINTED FAMILLE ROSE PALETTE ‘MEIREN AND CRANE’ PORCELAIN ROULEAU VASE, BANGCHUIPING

Resting on a ring foot, of elongated ovate shape, with a tubular neck and an everted rim. Very finely painted in Famille Rose enamels with Meiren in loose robes on a bamboo raft amidst crashing waves holding a vase with chrysanthemums, another vase with chrysanthemums on her right, a crane grasping a peach sprig on her left. The below inscribed in cobalt blue with an apocryphal six-character Guangxu mark in kaishu.
