A FLAMBÉ-GLAZED VASE, MEIPING
18th/19th century
The waisted body rising to broad shoulders, surmounted by a splayed lobed neck with a lipped rim, the shoulders flanked by a pair of lion head and fixed ring handles, covered overall with a thick crimson glaze with purplish-blue streaks thinning in places to a mushroom brown, the base with a light brown glaze, carved wood stand.
