A FLINTLOCK PISTOL

Smooth-bore, two-stage, 15 mm cal. barrel, first part is round with straight sides, engraved with floral motifs, with stamp "JSE" and test-bed stamp, marked "LONDON", partially gilded, after the rings round; engraved tang; flintlock engraved with floral motifs and signed "PROVINCIAL"; wooden, full stock with iron, engraved mounts, pierced counter-plate with monogram in a medallion, butt-plate with bass-relieved mask. Iron ramrod.
