dating: Early 19th Century provenance: England, Smooth-bore, turn-off, round four-stage, 11 mm cal. barrel, with a frame at the first girdle and rings at the following girdles, with moulded muzzle at the nozzle. Traces of antique finishing. Box-lock type frame, engraved with flowers and trophies on sides, signed 'Grice' on one side. London test-bed stamps in the lower part and numbering '2' on the breech ad turn-off segment of the barrel. In a good working order rear cock. Wooden grip with thin, filigree-inlaid spirals. length 19 cm.
