A FRAGMENTARY MARBLE RELIEF OF A RIVER GOD, CIRCA 1ST CENTURY A.D., OR AFTER THE ANTIQUE
carved in high relief with a reclining figure of a river god facing right, resting on an upturned vessel with water pouring out, and holding a bunch of flowers(?) in his left hand, a rocky outcrop and a large tree behind him, rushes and reeds in low relief in the background, a simple moulding along the upper and right edge; no restorations.
