A FRENCH BAROQUE REVIVAL GILT BRONZE MOUNTED MARBLE CONSOLE TABLE, SECOND-HALF 19TH CENTURY, with an elongated demi-lune and golden gray veined white marble top over a reticulated trellis apron suspending bow-ribbon tied floral festoons, above an ovolo cast dome within a rectangular bronze balustrade and arch molded cornice over large scrolls centering tapering acanthus leaves and pinecone mount, on a conforming marble pedestal with sides centering rectangular mounts enclosing curling strapwork cartouches of oval domed fleur-de-lys, above a front with a similarly detailed cartouche flanked by scrolls on a conforming gadrooned base raised on a central curling strapwork bronze, centered by nicely cast "C" scrolled corner mounts with Dionysian masks of the bearded smiling Silenus and ending in curled feet. Height: 31 1/4" Width: 47" Depth: 12 1/8" Provenance: Private Estate, Carrollton, Texas
Condition Report: Good condition with light surface buildup on bronze mounts, some small edge nicks, and a small repair on right side top left corner of marble panel.
