A Fabergé rare and impressive bowenite table box in the form of a billy goat's head, workmaster Henrik Wigström, St Petersburg, 1908-1917, London import marks for 1911-1912

oval, naturalistically carved of an impressive piece of bowenite, with reeded pink gold mount with laurel ties between the cover and the base, set with later faceted eyes, struck with workmaster's initials, Fabergé in Cyrillic and London import marks, 56 standard with scratched inventory number 15398
length 13cm; 5⅛in.

Condition Report:
Excellent condition overall, eyes re-set and replaced with later stones.
