American Furniture, Folk & Decorative Arts In overall fine and stable condition. Scuffs, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Originally thought to be of the 19th century, it is more likely a 20th century fabrication using earlier elements. The drawer fronts show age, but the drawer construction appears modern and then aged. The back board is one piece of more modern plywood, though it appears to show natural patina development. Each side panel appears to be constructed of three joined boards, with few age cracks visible.
