Vienna, c. 1825/30, walnut-veneered softwood frame with rounded lesenes and gilt capitals, moulded cornice with gilt bulls-eye mouldings and 1 drawer, double mirror-veneered writing surface, the veneer pattern of which continues downwards on the 2 small doors, architecturally structured and burlwood veneered interior with ebonised column decor, several compartments with central shelf with mirror, containing Indian ink paintings in the form of landscape scenes, slide-out shelf under the central inner drawer - concealing 2 secret drawers, c. 146 x 85 x 47 cm, well-kept condition with slight fissures.
