A Fine Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Writing Table stamped with London maker's name Howard & Sons Ltd Berners St.(1820 - 1947). The rectangular top with moulded edge and a replacement leather insert with decorative border. The frieze housing three drawers above two side drawers flanking an arched 'kneehole', standing on square tapering legs inlaid with stringing and terminating with brass caps and ceramic castors. The drawer fitted with gilt brass swing handles cast with ribbon bound reeding, and lever locks stamped Hobbs & Co, 29'' (74 cm) high, 42'' (107 cm) wide, 24'' (61 cm) deep.
