the case adorned with ribbon tied oak leaves above flowers, foliate, scrollwork and a cartouche shield, the upper dial of white enamel with Roman chapter ring with recessed center showing the jeweled Brocot escapement, the calendar dial below displaying the month and equation of time, the recessed center painted with a starry sky with moon aperture and day and date subsidiaries, the porcelain panels painted with cherubs within gilt foliage, the 8-day spring-driven time and strike movement with detached perpetual calendar mechanism, the movement marked "C.J. Klaftenberger, Regent Street, 28416" and "JBD" for Jean-Baptiste Delettrez, the pendulum marked "JBD, 28416, 150"
