A Fine Old Nyamwezi Sculpture Ex Banks Collection

An elegant and refined example of a male effigy with hands to the chest, incised beard, pouty mouth and deep well handled surface patina. The Sculpture was reportedly once offered at Sothebys London, though we have no records to verify this. The sculpture measures 13.25 inches tall on custom display stand.
