A Finely Carved Chinese Jade Dish on Stand
China, a uniquely designed jade dish, the entire sculpture of one piece, the back impressively designed as the stand. The top of the dish decorated with conjoined phoenix birds, the front of the base of rectangular form, delicately cutout with sinuous vines. The back of the object of more complex design, the triangular foot rising with phoenix heads to the sides and a mythical beast head to the center strut. The reverse of the dish with incised flowing design. Approximately 6 1/2 inches tall, 5 1/2 inches wide.
