A French 22-Bore Flintlock Holster Pistol

With long barrel with brass fore-sight on the sighting flat towards the muzzle, plain tang, lightly engraved flat bevelled lock (cock and steel replaced) signed in capitals, later figured full stock with dark horn fore-end cap, cast and chased brass mounts comprising side-plate with vacant oval centred on a grotesque head and pierced foliage, vacant escutcheon with grotesque mask above, spurred pommel with grotesque mask cap, trigger-guard (finial replaced) with recessed panel on the bow, faceted ramrod-pipes (forward one replaced), and later steel ramrod
