A French Gilt Bronze Inkstand
Cast by Ferdinand Barbedienne (French, 1810-1892), Late 19th Century
together with another inkwell, both examples with glass inserts, the inkstand stamped F. Barbedienne and with an impressed R to the underside; together with two mother-of-pearl handled dip pens, the nibs signed J.B. Davis/ & Co./ No. 7 and B. Grieshaber/ 2/ Chicago.
Height of inkstand 4 3/4 x width 12 inches.
