modeled as a bell hanging from an oak headstock on two A-form supports, the bell with a silvered dial with Roman hours above the Latin inscription VAE MIHI SI NON EVANGELISAVERO, the works stamped with circular Japy mark, further numbered 1178 and marked MADE IN FRANCE.
Height 14 1/2 x width 11 x depth 7 3/4 in., 36.8 x 27.9 x 19.7 cm.

At the time of writing, the movement is in working condition but has been restored.
