Convex moulded oval brooch painted en grisaille with a scene in the manner of Watteau on a transluscent blue ground. The surround with rose-cut diamonds, a green enamel border and drilled pearls (diameter 3.52 mm). The reverse backed with mother of pearl. Hallmarks: Parisian "tète d'aigle" gold guarantee, maker's mark "FI" in a rhombus. Minor wear to the enamel on the left edge. 5.5 x 4.6 cm. Weight 29.71 g.
