A French brass-mounted Chinese lacquer timepiece, by Boin-Taburet, early 20th century, with oval dial, the reverse with Chinese character marks, the hanging hook stamped BOIN TABURET A PARIS, 17 x 13.5cm; together with a Venetian micromosaic timepiece, c.1920, the circular frame intricately decorated with flowers, with brass easel support, 14.5cm diameter (2) Note: Boin-Taburet, the orfevrerie founded in Paris in c.1875, was famed for his recreations of Rococo styles, exhibiting in the 1889 Paris and 1891 Moscow Exhibitions.
