The clock with a gilt-brass dial with black Roman numeral hour markers, outer minute track, and an 8-day two train key wind movement with silk suspension set in a carved alabaster case in the form of a Gothic cathedral with half rose window, column-lined triforium, openwork carved pointed arches with tracery, and quatrefoils, raised overall on a black lacquered wood stand with glass dome

Notes: This lot is accompanied by an apprasial receipt from Ron Palladino, Solvang Antique Center and Horology services, dated December 23, 1998.
Condition Report: Overall good condition with shelf wear and scuffs commensurate with age. Stone with inherent surface-reaching fractures, inclusions, and abrasions. Chipped abrasions to corners, more prominent chips to mid-level corners, and a minor chip to the front left leg. Prior repairs to each corner tower, central tower, and various columns visible under blacklight. Includes pendulum, lacking key. Working condition unknown. Moran's does not guarantee the working condition of clocks and watches.
