The clock with a brass dial with black Arabic numeral hour markers and black openwork hands set in a bookmatch parquetry veneered wood case with anthemion trim and scrolling acanthus leaf motifs, flanked by two low relief figural panels, centering a cartouche, and surmounted by a wavescroll frieze, two opposed griffins, and urn-form finial with figural masks, raised overall on four bracket feet
30" H x 15.25" W x 11.875" D
Condition Report: Overall good condition with scattered scuffs, scratches, nicks, shrinkage cracks, separation at joints, and oxidation to metal commensurate with age. Minor chipped losses to the veneer on verso around back opening. A 3" chipped loss to the cornice and a 2" loss to the upper molding. Slight loosening of the cartouche mount. Possible glued repairs to numerals seven and twelve. Mounting putty residue to feet. Includes pendulum. Lacking key. Working condition unknown. Moran's does not guarantee the working condition of clocks and watches.
