A French long chain and a pair of lorgnettes, c.1870,
with the chain composed of a series of pierced marquise shaped links. A pierced four petal flower head with relief scallops to a fine planished textured ground, all joined by sections of ring and trace link chain, to a swivel clip and half solid bolt ring clasp. The lorgnettes suspended from a reed oval jump ring, with chased decoration to an engine turned ground with a lever spring release. Both with French 'remarque' poinçon for 18ct gold standard.
