by John Elston, Exeter 1716, of tapering cylindrical form, with an applied reeded S-scroll handle and moulded foot, chased with a bead and reel girdle above a band of reeding, centred by an oval cartouche within a scrolling surround. 10cm high, 4.7 troy ounces
The date letter is clear. The other marks are rubbed but decipherable. Engraved with initials in the cartouche. In generally good condition with wear commensurate with age.
