A GEORGE II CARVED OAK CORNER CUPBOARD MID 18TH CENTURY Of architectural form, 198cm high, 126cm wide, 77cm deep Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and useOld splits and cracks, chips and losses, signs of old woodworm, wear and splitting to the interior shelves, timber missing to edges and around the base and lower portions Some later timber to interior of the drawers Locks and handles are old, there are no keys present There has been a varnished surface which has discoloured and has craquelure - may benefit from a clean and repolish overall, one panel to the doors appears clean and may well be a replacement element Some looseness to mouldings, the central lower 'bar' moulding is loose when the elements are taken apart for transport, some care is needed to reinsert in position Condition Report Disclaimer
