A GEORGE II WALNUT AND UPHOLSTERED WING ARMCHAIR CIRCA 1740 116cm high, 92cm wide, 76cm deep overall Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Old splits and chips. Later upholstery with swear, marks and some discolourations (this is mainly to the arms and seat). Dreweatts cannot guarantee the originality of elements beneath upholstery. Very slight movement within arms but chair is structurally solid overall. One side seat rail and the rear seat rail are later replacements. Some evidence of old worm to seat rails. One front leg with glued repair to one 'ear'. the seat is padded with springs and not horse hair or straw. Please refer to additional images for visual reference to condition.
