Condition Report: Marks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Some old chips and splits and some old repairs. The escutcheons and handles of the drawers appear original. The fixtures to some handles vary from each other where they have been likely re-secured over time. The locks are 18th century. Some of the locks vary slightly from each other. Lacking keys Some fading overall, the surface appears significantly cleaned and later varnished overall. Some areas of later dark varnish applied around metalware and moulded details. The feet are likely replacements that are faithful to period style and design. They may incorporate old timber/ veneer. The rear panels appear largely original but some planks are later replacements.
