A GEORGE III GILTWOOD EAGLE CONSOLE TABLE IN THE MANNER OF WILLIAM BRADSHAW, SECOND HALF 18TH CENTURY With shaped marble top 77cm high, 62cm wide, 38cm deep Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Old chips and splits. Gilding has been re-freshed at some point. Some cracks opening along the lines of the underlying construction of the eagle. Glued repairs to cracks through the feet of the bird (see images for extent). Glued repair with filler used to the neck of the eagle where it meets the underside of the top. The gilding with various chips, rubbing, and some areas of losses. The marble top with old repaired crack running diagonally across it. The edge of the marble top with some chips and nibbles.
