A GEORGE III MAHOGANY CHEVAL MIRRORCIRCA 1810173cm high, 84cm wide, 65cm deep Condition Report: Overall there is a patina of fine scratches, rubbing, knocks and chips commensurate with age and use.There are faintly visible filled holes to the blocks on the side supports just below the brass side handles, these could be where brass candle arms had previously been fixed.The mirror plate has variable spotting and hazing to the silvering. The mahogany might have had some later stain/polish as there are traces of brown to the mirrored plate next to the crossbanded frame.There are cracks along the grain of wood of the crossbanded veneers on the frame, possibly some replacements/repairs.There are increased scratches and knocks to the outswept legs area of the cheval mirror.Please see the additional photographs as visual reference of condition.
