A GEORGE III MAHOGANY TWO-LEAF FIRE SCREEN, CIRCA 1770, set with 19th century needlework panels, the frame raised on turned supports and stretchers. 115cm high x 52cm wide x 2cm deep Provenance: From a collection of furniture and antiques left to the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB ) in 1939 by Evelyn Stannus of Kensington. Items in the collection are believed to have come from Ireland.
