by Hester Bateman, London 1784, with a beaded rim and flying scroll handle with an acanthus leaf thumbpiece, engraved to the underside with initials, all raised on three shell-capped hoof feet. 10cm high, 5.4 troy ounces
Splits to the rim either side of the handle, marks are rubbed but legible, one area is a bit mishapen along the rim at one side, otherwise in a condition commensurate with age and use. Initials S (over) M * R.
