by Peter & Ann Bateman, London 1792, the circular bowl with deep sides, the now hinged domed cover with an eagle finial and reeded edge, raised on a spreading circular foot with a reeded edge, engraved with a crest. 13.2cm high, 7.2 troy ounces
The marks on the base and edge of the cover are clear. The hinge has been later added. The opens and closes well. The finial is a little loose. In otherwise good condition.
