by Samuel Pemberton, Birmingham 1816, of shallow rectangular form, the hinged cover with an applied border of fruit and foliage, the base and cover engine-turned, the gilt interior with a pierced and engraved grille depicting a ho-ho bird amidst flowers and foliage. 4.4cm long, 1.1 troy ounces
The marks are clear. The hinges are in good order, and both the cover and grille close well. The cover is engraved with script initials on a rectangular cartouche. the gilding is good, and the vinaigrette is generally in very good condition.
