A GEORGE III TULIPWOOD AND HAREWOOD BALLOON TABLE CLOCK, JOHN DWERRYHOUSE, LONDON, CIRCA 1790

8-inch painted dial signed John Dwerryhouse, 23 Charles St, Berkeley Square, the fusee and chain movement with anchor escapement and striking on a bell, the similarly signed backplate engraved with foliate scrolls, the balloon case veneered with harewood, crossbanded with tulipwood and inlaid with a paterae, on splayed gilt-brass feet,

Condition Report:
Painted dial is rubbed and very dirty with scratches throughout, good original steel hands. Movement is very dirty and not running although it appears to be complete, striking hammer broken and missing, no pendulum. Case is very dirty and has fault throughout including but limited to; a crack through the top, losses to the edging of the rear door, scuffs, dents and marks throughout. With a winder but no pendulum or case key.
