An antique engraved three-legged pewter plate for Sabbath. With engraved inscriptions in Hebrew and ornaments. On the back, there is a manufacturer's stamp.
The inscribed blessing is the usual blessing for bread. This plate was almost certainly intended to be used for challah baked for the Friday evening Sabbath meal.Ca. 18th cen.
