A GERMAN SILVER AND GEM SET FIGURAL JEWEL CABINET, PSEUDO MARKS, HANAU, CIRCA 1890

modelled as a young maiden in 17th century Renaissance dress; her bodice opening to reveal several compartments, her dress opening with two doors to reveal an ebonised wood interior fitted with nine drawers, each applied with openwork silver foliage, the body inset with turquoise, amethysts, garnets, agates and cabochon and factested pastes

6497gr., 208oz. 18dwt.

Condition Report:
The marks clear to the rim of the base of the skirt. A little bruised at this point. The opening bodiec perhaps originally held drawers. No obvious stones missing. Otherwise good condition for age.
