A GERMAN TULIPWOOD AND VARIOUS WOODS INLAID PARQUETRY CHEST OF DRAWERS, 19TH CENTURY, in the Rococo transitional style with a rectangular top and chevron detailed canted corners, centering a panel of continuous rows of repetitive square and lozenge inlay within ebony and fruitwood checkered trim enclosed by tulipwood and kingwood crossbanding, above four drawers with matching parquetry and each centering a single bronze floret suspending loop handle, above a waved apron drawer inlaid à quatre faces flanked by sides with "Oeben" cube inlay and raised on short cabriole legs. Height: 40 1/4" Width: 27 1/4" Depth: 16 1/2" Dimensions: Condition Report: Good condition for antique furniture of this age, use and materials including but not limited to normal surface marks and scratches, small chips, age cracks, old repairs and restorations, areas of varnish discoloration, fading from light exposure and handles are of a later date.
