Circular, the lid set with a fixé sous verre double landscape miniature of a natural arch and classical ruins, divided by black and white grotesques; together with two blond tortoiseshell snuff boxes, both circular, the lids set with fixé sous verre miniatures representing pastoral landscapes, French, late 18th century, one gold-mounted, the other gilt-metal mounted, both apparently unmarked

Condition Report:
First, generally good, paint a little perished at edge, gilt mount rubbed
Second, paint a little perished, one gold mount partially detached
Third, paint probably compromised in small spots; tortoiseshell a little nibbled
