A GLAZED WHITE PORCELAIN JAR
FIVE DYNASTIES-NORTHERN SONG DYNASTY, 10TH-12TH CENTURY
The jar is of ovoid form with a wide mouth and flanged rim, and is decorated with a pair of incised lines on the steeply rounded shoulders. It is covered overall with a clear glaze applied over white slip, with a pool of dark iron-brown glaze in the center of the interior.
